Tom Jane And Jeremy Piven To Star In I Melt With You

Going by the title, the marketing department behind the newly announced Thomas Jane-Jeremy Piven film is going to have a rough time selling it. Deadline reports that the two will pair up a project titled I Melt With You, but here's the kicker: it's not a romantic comedy. According to the report, the movie will be an ensemble thriller that director Mark Pellington describes as a film "about four guys and deals with mortality, aging and friendship. It is very dark and very low budget." The film is set to begin lensing in Northern California early next month.

What's strange is that both actors have shows on HBO that have just started their seasons, meaning that their lives are about to get a great deal more hectic. On the other hand, it's always been great to see both Jane and Piven do movie work (save some obvious exceptions) and this sounds right up their alley. With the film scheduled to shoot so soon and two major roles still needing to be filled, be sure that we will hear more about this project very soon.
