The script for Twilight Saga: New Moon appears to have leaked online. Or if it’s not the script, then someone has gone through an awful lot of trouble to write a 105 page fake. Actually, knowing the dedication of hardcore Twilight fans, that may not be as ridiculous as it seems.

Whatever it is, there’s a script online which claims to be at least one of the drafts of the New Moon script written by Melissa Rosenberg. It appears to have originated on Twitter right here, and I can’t imagine Summit Entertainment is going to be particularly happy about it if this actually is the real deal.

The script opens with a dream sequence in which Bella imagines herself as a wrinkly old woman, still with an eternally young and extremely diamond skinned Edward. I haven’t read the books, so Twilight experts chime in and let me know what you think. Is this script the real deal?

UPDATE! The Twitter profile of the person distributing the script has been locked, and judging by Summit's reaction to this leak, it looks like this script was the real deal. If you're Summit, don't worry. Wolverine had the entire movie leaked online and it didn't seem to hurt the film's box office a bit. In fact, it may have helped.
