What Does Hugh Jackman Have To Eat To Look Like Wolverine?

So you think movie star’s live the life of luxury, being able to purchase whatever they want, travel anywhere in the world and eat the finest meals from the planet’s best restaurants. Well, for the most part, that’s true. But Hugh Jackman’s here to remind us that every once in a while – when you are committed to a physical role like Wolverine – movie stars are forced to eat their vegetables.

Jackman’s on the set of The Wolverine, James Mangold’s sequel to the X-Man Origins film that once again features Marvel’s favorite adamantium-clawed hero. And the Twitter happy star is Tweeting photos of his protein-rich Wolverine meals. Here’s the latest:

Jackman calls today Day 1 of the shoot, which begins in Australia before eventually moving to Japan. Mangold and his creative team will attempt to bring the legendary Frank Miller-Chris Claremont Wolverine story to the big screen. Every time we get into the pre-production stage of a Wolverine movie, though, Jackman gets very, very excited. His passion for the character is evident. But outside of two Bryan Singer movies, something gets lost in the translation when it comes to Logan. It isn’t Jackman’s fault, per se. It’s just a case of where his passion and enthusiasm hasn’t always led to the creation of a Wolverine movie fans around the world can embrace.

Will Mangold’s The Wolverine finally be that movie? We’ll find out once this sequel reaches theaters on July 26, 2013.
