One major element that separates the upcoming The Wolverine from all of the other X-Men movies we've seen is that rather than taking place in America, most of the movie is actually set in Japan. It would have been a shame if they failed to implement this very special aspect into the promotional materials, but the good news is that with the first ever teaser poster it looks as though they actually plan to display the cultural distinction proudly.

Following a live-chat with Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold 20th Century Fox revealed the brand new artwork, which is actually pretty damn amazing. You can see it below and be sure to click on the image to see it full size in our database.

And for more about the movie, watch the recorded live chat below:

Based on the classic storyline by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller, The Wolverine takes Logan (Jackman) to the far East where he continues his journey of self-discovery and trains as a samurai warrior. Christopher McQuarrie, Oscar winning screenwriter of The Usual Suspects, wrote the screenplay, which also had work done by Mark Bomback. The supporting cast includes Will Yun Lee (as Kenuchio Harada a.k.a. Silver Samurai) Svetlana Khodchenkova (as Viper), Brian Tee, Huroyuki Sanada, Rila Fukushima and Tao Okamoto. Sadly we still have a long time to wait until the film actually hits theaters, as it won't be released by 20th Century Fox until July 26, 2013, but for more about the movie, including images and news, be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database.
