Here’s a story. Of a mutant named Wolvie. Who was bringing up three very lovely X-Men!
One week from today, apparently, we’ll be treated to a new, full-length trailer for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. Where have we seen this design before? Well, here:
And here, of course:
And now I just want to see an episode of Hollywood Squares with the cast of X-Men. Who would be funnier? Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, or the pairing of Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in the center square? Make that happen, Fox!
Back to the promo. There is new footage hiding in each of these squares. Wolverine is submerged in some water, and tied up with… something? Blink, in the top left square, gets to turn and stare. Bishop gets to wield his massive gun. Storm is there. What does that mean?! Really, we just want to see the full trailer. It has to deliver more footage than what we saw here, right?
Need to pass the days until the trailer arrives next Monday? Lucky for you, we recently published our complete guide to Singer’s pending sequel, breaking down every major character in the past and future for the new X-Men movie. The sequel will be in theaters on May 23.
