Tara Reid Is Making A Movie About Bullying, See Her Bruised Face

This is incredibly jarring. Tara Reid, she of the Sharknado franchise, posted this disturbing image to her Instagram page. With the image, she shared a warning, telling her 182,000 followers to be aware of what bullying looks like. Is Tara Reid being bullied in her personal life?
Don't worry, American Pie fans. Tara Reid isn't being beaten. She's filming a movie. As The Wrap points out, Reid is working on a feature film titled Worthless, which she is filming in Philadelphia. The movie isn't listed on her own IMDB page, but she has been posting images leading up to the shoot, even stating on Twitter:
It's nice to see Tara Reid in something that doesn't involve genetically modified sharks. Though the blonde comedian made a name for herself in the American Pie movies, The Big Lebowski and Josie and the Pussycats, her career as of late has been relegated to basic cable, sci-fi shlock. Instead of marquee titles, Reid's resume has been pocked with lampoon spoofs like The Hungover Games and the Sharknado films, including Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! and Sharknado 4: The Fourth Awakens.
At the very least, this make up job makes it look like Worthless could be a bid for a more mainstream effort. Tara Reid is finally tackling a serious subject in the form of bullying. However, since we don't have a lot of details on the project, we don't know what role Tara Reid will be playing in the movie. Or even where the movie will open. This could be a movie that goes directly to video. Or, because it has Tara Reid above the title, it may actually make it to movies on a limited release.
Either way, the above image is disturbing as hell, if only because the make up job reflects what is a harsh reality for bullying victims. Tara Reid, by sharing this image, isn't showing off. She is showing how crucial the message of her upcoming movie is, so hopefully more people will sit up and pay attention when it finally screens.
What do you think of the image? Is this a movie you'd go out of your way to see when it finally screens?
