Watch Chris Pratt And Jennifer Lawrence Viciously Destroy Each Other In NSFW Insult Video

In the new movie Passengers, Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence play two people who start a relationship while adrift in space. It would seem that was a difficult relationship to start, as the two actors are really good at insulting each other. While the pair can't stop laughing at each other's ridiculous insults when the two go after each other they do so with a strange focus. The co-star's recently played a game for the BBC that had them hurling insults at each other. It's a fantastic series of takedowns. Check it out.

Jennifer Lawrence starts by going after Chris Pratt's physical strength. From there, it goes into the insulting of each of their careers. Lawrence even brings up Everwood which is a serious move that early. It clearly knocks Pratt back on his heels. Other great lines during the Playground Insults game on BBC Radio One include shots at the X-Men franchise and a burn regarding the fact that Chris Pratt has no Oscar. Not every insult is top-caliber material, but the two really go at it. While we'd probably put Jennifer Lawrence ahead on points, Chris Pratt ultimately takes the victory with a shot stating that Lawrence has a penis. Even she has to admit defeat after that one.

Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence are clearly very funny together. Perhaps they should do a second film together that allows them to show their humorous side. From all indications, there will be little opportunity for jokes in Passengers. The science fiction film follows the two as they wake up in the middle of an interstellar journey to a new planet. However, the ship that they're on is in jeopardy and the two must work together to save it. With the life and death struggle, we're not expecting Passengers to be very funny. There might be some gallows humor, but that's probably about it.

Passengers will be in an interesting place when it's released next week. The film will be an original science fiction movie, that will follow the biggest space opera in the history of movies, Star Wars . While the constant stream of sequel and franchise movies is often derided, the fact is that the reason those movies happen is because they are successful. Many are looking for more original stories and Passengers looks to be exactly what they want. It looks to be as big a sci0fi blockbuster as any familiar franchise, but with something completely fresh t its core. Will the film be able to find an audience following Rogue One: A Star Wars Story? Only time will tell at this point.
