Where The Hulk Sleeps In Thor: Ragnarok Is Pretty Amazing

One of the most interesting and exciting aspects of Thor: Ragnarok is waiting to see how the Incredible Hulk fits into the story. Now, a new art exhibit gives us a hint as to what he's been up to. There a new art installation dedicated to the design of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that includes at least one piece that we have yet to see in the films. Check out the amazing bed that Hulk will sleep in between battles in Thor: Ragnarok.

The Hulk sleeps in a bed made of the skull of a... who even knows? All we can guess is that this isn't just a bed made to look up like a thing that it's not, the way you used to sleep in a bed that looked like a race car. The Hulk probably sleeps in a bed fashioned from the skull of something he killed in that arena we've seen in the trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. That is both incredibly badass and more than a little disturbing.

The bed is currently on display at the Gallery of Modern Art in Queensland, Australia as part of the Marvel: Creating the Cinematic Universe show. In one of the images from the Twitter post above, from Australian journalist Belinda Seeney, we can see one of the weapons Hulk wields in the trailer on a table next to the bed, which gives us a bit of scale for the bed. Needless to say, the thing is massive. It would have to be to be big enough for the Hulk to sleep in it. Of course, the image of the Hulk sleeping is itself a fairly difficult image to conjure.

The bed only really tells us one thing about Thor: Ragnarok for sure, and that's that we'll see it in the new movie. That fact then creates a new question. What does Hulk's bedroom have to do with the movie? We have no context for what this really means. The fact that the bed is Hulk-sized is probably important. You'd think a sleeping Hulk would be calm enough to transform back into Bruce Banner. Either this doesn't happen, or Bruce has to climb out of a massive bed every morning, which probably looks hilarious.

One thing is for certain, and that's that the Grandmaster takes pretty good care of his champion. We know from the Thor: Ragnarok trailer that Thor and Hulk will cross paths in a battle arena where the Hulk is the defending champion. We're guessing that not everybody who fights there has such a massive and luxurious, if mildly terrifying, bed.

We'll get a closer look at the bed when Thor: Ragnarok debuts in theaters November 3.
