Netflix New Releases: Movies And TV Shows Coming To Netflix Streaming In July

July is about several things that are important to the quintessential images of summer. It's about fireworks. It's about picnics. And, more important to the purposes of this list, it's about those movie nights you'll be planning for both in and out-of doors. July is the first full month of summer on the calendar, so you may be tempted to cue up Netflix on your phone, break out a projector, and turn your backyard into a drive-in.

What follows is the list of the films newly streaming during the month of July. If you're still curious about what came into the fold at the beginning of June, you can see that listing here. Please keep in mind that these titles are subject to change, so feel free to bookmark this page for any updates.

Being Mary Jane: The Series: Season 4

Netflix is pretty heavy with riches this month, as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story alone is worth the subscription price. Though you'll have to wait until the middle of the month to indulge in some Star Wars glory, but fear not, as there's much more the service is offering. Also coming into play are classics like E.T.: The Extra-terrestrial and Police Academy, as well as new films you may have missed, such as the Academy Award-nominated Lion, or Bad Santa 2.

Digging into the Netflix Originals being distributed this month, we've got some interesting films and television programs on the docket. The Adventures of Puss in Boots returns for its fifth season, this time as part of Netflix's new "choose your own adventure" experiment in interactive television. Castlevania: Season 1 also debuts in July, bringing the anime adaptation of the beloved Konami video game to living, breathing life. Though if you're looking for something in the movie department, there are films like To The Bone in line for debut, as well.

Finally, some popular TV shows you might be interested in are hitting the digital queue next month, with iZombie's third season as a prime example. Though if you're still not caught up with Pretty Little Liars' last 10 episodes, those too will be coming into play during July's rollout. Whatever you may be looking for in terms of entertainment, Netflix has you covered, as usual! So keep an eye on your queue, and watch responsibly.
