Subscribe To First Look At Jeff Goldblum As Dr. Ian Malcolm In New Jurassic World Footage Updates
We are just one day out from getting the full Jurassic World trailer, and the studio is milking the new footage for all that it is worth. Turns out, we are totally fine with it though, as scouring first looks for new footage of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has become a sort of pasttime here at the CinemaBlend office. In fact, this morning, Universal dropped a behind-the-scenes look at the film and it gave us our first look at how Dr. Ian Malcolm has changed in this Jurassic Universe. You can check out Jeff Goldblum back as the popular character, below.
In the footage, Chris Pratt is super enthused about getting to work with Jeff Goldblum, and who wouldn't be. The man is a legend, a legend who kindly lent his acting abilities to two major franchises recently, as he popped up in Thor: Ragnarok and will be back for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom this summer. We also get a brief snippet of Dr. Ian Malcolm, who notes:
We first learned that Jeff Goldblum would be back for Jurassic World 2 earlier this year as part of a casting report for the upcoming movie. Goldblum later talked a little bit about the role, admitting it will be "small" but would "hopefully" have "some impact". In the franchise, Dr. Ian Malcolm is a mathematician who specializes in Chaos Theory. In the original first two movies, he often narrates what is happening and is responsible for the famous line, "Life, uh, finds a way." Hopefully he'll get a good one-liner this time around, and that dinosaur line gets him off to a decent start.
If you want to take a look at some of the other action and sequences during filming, you can check out the full video, below. It's full of some new looks at dinosaurs and action sequences, though, so if you'd rather wait for the final product your totally can. You don't have too much longer to wait, after all.
Hold on to your butts, ladies and gentleman, because the trailer is about to happen. We know the full preview is going to drop this Thursday, and we'll be with you every step of the way. In the meantime, please go ahead and mark your calendars for the theatrical release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which is officially coming out on June 22, 2018. You can also take a look at some other upcoming release with our full movie schedule.
