Looks Like Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye Is Also In Avengers: Endgame Reshoots
It's been a long road, but Avengers: Endgame is now only about three months away! Are you ready? ... Well the movie isn't quite yet, as reshoots are now underway. This week, Karen Gillian and Zoe Saldana confirmed on social media that they are back on set for Endgame, and now you can count Jeremy Renner in too. Take a look:
The Hawkeye actor updated fans on his Instagram with another cryptic post on the set of Avengers: Endgame, wishing everyone a good weekend and announcing that his reshoots are almost finished. He also adds in some sneaky hashtags including "need a massage" and "Infinity War" -- it's called Endgame now, Renner, get it together!
It's easy for word of reshoots to incite a bit of nervousness for the end product of a blockbuster such as Avengers: Endgame, especially so close to the film's release. Fear not, it's quite routine these days for MCU films to undergo reshoots and practically every recent Marvel film has had them.
With this post, we can't help but wonder what Jeremy Renner is shooting for Hawkeye. While the character was absent in Infinity War, it looks like he'll be teaming up with what's left of the Avengers for Endgame.
In the Endgame trailer, it was confirmed that Clint Barton will be Ronin this time around, a theory that many Marvel fans have theorized for quite some time. His new form trades his bow and arrow for an impressive sword, and is the darkest and broodiest iteration of the character from the comics.
As teased with Captain America saying the words "we lost family" over voiceover as Ronin appears, we think the transformation is triggered by Clint watching his family die because of Thanos' snap.
The debut of Ronin in Endgame looks to be a reunion with his good ole pal Black Widow, who likely found him to ask for help with her and Captain America's desperate plan, which was also teased in the stunning first trailer.

Per the trailer, it looks like Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Bruce Banner, and an unexpected Scott Lang will be leading the charge to work their plan. Meanwhile, Iron Man sits hopelessly on a spaceship, almost out of oxygen, and Thanos celebrates his victory.
While a majority of the Avengers shockingly turned to dust at the end of Infinity War, we don't expect it to stay like that forever, especially considering Peter Parker is soon suiting up for his sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home in July. Additionally, after she gets her solo debut in March, Captain Marvel is set to join the Avengers as well for Endgame.
There's a lot weighing on the outcome of Endgame, especially since it seems to mark the end of a more than 10-year chapter for the MCU. Avengers: Endgame comes to theaters on April 26, 2019.
