Avengers: Endgame’s DVD Trailer Includes New Footage
When Avengers: Endgame was announced to be a couple minutes over three hours, fans were nervously preparing to limit their liquids on the day of the film’s release. Once the film came out, audiences couldn’t get enough of the penultimate Phase 3 installment, as the blockbuster became the second highest-grossing movie of all time. In an attempt to get the film over Avatar’s long-held record a number #1, the studio then extended Endgame’s theatrical run with six minutes of additional footage.
Now, as Endgame has fallen back down from the box office ranks to make way for other huge summer releases such as Spider-Man: Far From Home and The Lion King, the film is gearing up for its upcoming home release. Check out the exciting trailer below:
Gotta love this 3000! The DVD trailer is packed with additional footage from the making of the film, interviews with the star-studded cast, funny on-set antics and such that has us emotional about Avengers: Endgame all over again! The Blu-ray will include an extra disc of bonus features that looks to appease Marvel fans still buzzing about every scene and line of the event film months later.
As the trailer teases, the DVD release will give us a closer look to how scenes such as the final epic battle was made, with fun moments such as Brie Larson hilariously quipping “This doesn’t feel cool, but if it looks cool, that’s what matters” while suspended in the air with a sea of green behind her.
We’ll also be treated to a number of deleted scenes - one looks to be an exchange between Iron Man and Rocket in the room where they figure out they will pull off the Time Heist. There will also be making-of featurettes, for all those scenes we sat there jaw-dropped during first viewings. How did they recreate the Avengers moments years later? How did Chris Evans’ Captain America fight himself?
The bonus features will also include a gag reel, which are always a treat in the MCU. The actors always look like they are having a good time working together and this time just about everyone is together. Hopefully we’ll get to see the Marvel women come together for that iconic shot when they come to Spider-Man’s aid!
The DVD trailer for Avengers: Endgame also looks to play tribute to Stan Lee as well, even showing the late great comic book legend filming his last cameo for the MCU. If those tears aren’t enough already, there seems to be plenty of emotional scenes between the actors during their scenes together, such as Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans hugging it out among others and the Captain America actor getting choked up during the film’s wrap.
