It's still too early to know whether Kate Middleton will bring a baby boy or girl to the royal family, but some people are confident there's a boy in her belly. The reason? Her recent attire. The princess has been spotted in an array of blue-colored outfits lately, and some believe that's a big hint.
The speculation comes from Entertainment Tonight. Since the Duchess of Cambridge announced her third pregnancy with her husband Prince William back in September, Kate Middleton has been wearing more blue outfits than usual. Maybe that's someone reading into it too much? Could it be one big, huge coincidence? Perhaps, but it's worth considering. After all, Prince William and Kate Middleton haven't announced the sex of the baby yet, and they haven't formally hinted it either. There's as much reason to believe she's carrying a boy as she is a girl, but this is certainly an intriguing take.
If Kate Middleton is set to deliver another son, however, that's not going to please a lot of gamblers. A couple weeks ago, it was revealed that a majority of gamblers believe that Middleton is set to have another daughter, and they think the royal child will be named Alice. In fact, the odds were 7/1. However, those who believe it's going to be a boy believe he'll be named Albert and Arthur. The odds are 12/1 in their respective favor.
It's an exciting time for the royal family. In addition to the upcoming delivery, the family is also preparing to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. That is planned to commence on May 19th. Assuming the baby is healthy and happy, there's a good chance Kate Middleton will be bringing baby #3 to the wedding. We'll have to play it by ear, though.
The wedding preparations bring some surprising revelations. For instance, it was announced yesterday that Prince Harry might reportedly bring two of his exes to the wedding, while the Spice Girls are invited and rumored to be performing their first concert in ages during the reception. Neither is officially confirmed, but neither of them has been denied either.
In any case, whenever the baby is born, we'll be sure to let you know. You can bet that we'll let you know whether it's a bouncing boy or giddy girl.
