When it's your Royal Wedding and you're heading to your reception, you expect to roll out in style. That's exactly what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did, and they went classic vintage in their automobile choice. The newly-appointed Duke and Duchess of Sussex needed a smooth ride to get them to the reception dinner hosted by the Prince of Wales, and that's precisely what they received with their silver blue 1968 Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero. A beautiful car in stunning condition, it was almost as dazzling as Meghan Markle on her big day. Thanks to the Kensington Palace's social media account, we have footage of Meghan and Harry leaving the Windsor Castle to ride in their old-fashioned car. Check out the video, below.
As it is noted in the caption, while the car is in excellent shape, it's not in mint condition. The retro vehicle has been remodeled to run on electricity, and in this Royal Wedding clip, the car seems to be running as smooth as a whistle as it is seen exiting the venue. A nice-looking ride that's also environmentally sound and economically friendly? What's not to like? Indeed, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry know how to garner the right attention when it comes to their special day together, one that was viewed by millions and millions of watching eyes all around the world. As viewers around the world saw yesterday, the Royal Wedding went quite smoothly, too. You could say Markle and Prince Harry were hitched with hardly a single hitch.
After several months of speculation and anticipation, May 19th's Royal Wedding was a smash success. The weather was great. The venue was gorgeous. There were tons and tons of celebrities, along with thousands of other nearby guests. Of course, Meghan Markle's wedding dress was a stunner, as you would likely expect. Though the Royal Wedding was unfortunately met with some unwelcome controversy days before the date, resulting in Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, being unable to attend the lavish ceremony (though it was also reportedly related to the elder Markle's recent health problems, according to Meghan), the Windsor Castle event was, by many accounts, a beautiful matiromony. It also made a viral sensation out of Smiling Page Boy, the joyful, slightly-toothless young boy behind Megan Markle who stole the hearts of viewers everywhere and captured their own reactions at home to Meghan's dress as she walked down the aisle.
Many congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for their lavish weekend! As they get settled into their new lives together, we look forward to hearing more about what is entailed. Meanwhile, we will continue to keep you posted on all their updates as they come here at CinemaBlend.
