Details are still very fuzzy on what exactly happened, but Halle Berry was reportedly taken by ambulance to Cedars Sinai hospital last night after a mishap on the set of her new film The Hive. Those who witnessed the accident are saying she struck her head, but as of press time, neither she nor her publicist has confirmed anything bad happened.

Sources on the set who spoke to X17 reportedly told the outlet she may have been struck on the head by a falling object, while those who spoke to TMZ said the actress fell and hit her head on concrete. Regardless of the specifics, this marks the second time in a short window an actress has been rushed to the hospital after an on-set injury. The Good Wife’s Kristin Chenoweth spent a night in the emergency room last week after being struck by a falling piece of equipment.

Berry’s injury reportedly occurred late last night, which is probably why we haven’t heard anything publically. It’s not even 6 AM in Los Angeles yet. Once people start waking up out West, expect to start getting the full story. We’ll keep you updated.

There’s no word yet on how this might affect filming of The Hive, but one would imagine it would put everyone at least a day behind schedule. The film stars Berry and Abigail Breslin and is a thriller about confronting a murderer.
