Jessica Simpson Shows Off Maxwell On People Cover

Earlier this month, new mommy Jessica Simpson negotiated with various parties to sell the first images of baby Maxwell. Ultimately, the combination reality star/ singer/ actress decided on People Magazine for a rumored fee of roughly eight hundred thousand dollars. Now, the big day has finally arrived, and the magazine’s cover features mother and daughter in all their glory. You can take a look at the image below…

In the accompanying interview, Simpson, not surprisingly, gushes about motherhood but also speaks of some of its shortcomings and trappings. She tells the outlet nursing Maxwell has turned into a full-time job. Luckily, it’s one she still tries to relish.

"It's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her. I miss holding her and having that closeness."

It’s always easier when a new mother embraces her role as a parent, and Simpson certainly seems to be doing that. Evidence number one would be the headband in that photo. In addition to praising her baby as being the most beautiful ever and her fiancé Eric Johnson as the best father, the starlet has been very open about her obsession with buying headbands, which, if nothing else, shows she’s very invested in her child’s appearance.

Pop Blend’s congratulations again go out to Simpson and Johnson as they embark on the biggest challenge of their lives.
