Selena Gomez Tells Chelsea Handler She's Enjoying The Single Life

Selena Gomez just can’t stop talking about enjoying the single life now that she’s no longer with Justin Bieber. The Biebs, for his part, may not be handling the single life so well, but Gomez is 20 years old, beautiful, and set to star in the upcoming flick Spring Breakers. Why would she not be excited about some personal me time?

On Thursday, the actress joined fellow Spring Breakers star Vanessa Hudgens on the set of Chelsea Lately where Gomez admitted she is single and enjoying it. Handler, in usual fashion, was all for her happiness as a single lady, giving her a piece of advice.

"Enjoy this, girl. You're 20 years old. You've got a lot of men ahead of you!"

Humorously, Hudgens is dating someone and the comedic talk show host had some advice for the 19-year-old starlet, as well, telling her the next time she’s single, she should “have a blast."

Teen love doesn’t usually last forever, and it was no real surprise when Bieber and Gomez called it quits. Gomez has been handling the break-up a whole lot better than her singer ex, doing promotions for her new movie and cracking jokes about their former relationship, while Bieber has been having some personal troubles with getting kicked out of clubs and getting caught smoking pot. That’s the thing about break-ups—a person can either handle the aftermath with finesse or fall prey to emotional troubles. Here’s to hoping Bieber will interview with as much spunk as Gomez in the coming weeks.
