Teri Hatcher's Supergirl Character Was Finally Revealed, And She Looks Like A Boss

Warning: spoilers ahead for Episode 15 of Supergirl Season 2, "Exodus."

Back in January, we learned that Supergirl was bringing in none other than Lois & Clark alum Teri Hatcher to play a brand new character. Not too many details were released about her other than the fact that she would be a villain and would have a husband played by Kevin Sorbo, and we've only been able to wait and guess what kind of character Hatcher would be playing. She finally made her Supergirl debut in "Exodus," and the promo for the next episode gave a pretty solid look at her. We still can't say much about her motivation as a character, but there's no denying that she looks like a boss. Take a look!

The promo for the next episode makes it clear that Teri Hatcher's arrival is finally going to give us our answer to the mystery of Mon-El. His story about being sent to safety by a dying Daxamite prince has had holes in it from the beginning, and many fans have speculated that Mon-El himself is the actual Daxamite prince. Well, Mon-El is indeed the prince, and his royal mom and dad have dropped by Earth for a chat. His mom clearly is one to travel in style. If she's going to visit her son at the D.E.O., then damn it, she's going to do it in full gown, pointy shoulder pads, and crown.

Of course, it's clear that the Daxamite queen didn't just stop by Earth to visit her son at his job. Evidently she's planning on checking out how he's been living and who he's been spending his time with, which seems to involve a dinner party between the Daxamite royals and poor Kara. I'm guessing that Mon-El has found the one and only way to make a dinner party more awkward than he did last week when he accused Jeremiah of being a traitor at his own "Welcome Home!" meal. Luckily for probably everybody, it looks like there will be plenty of wine on hand.

The queen's not the only Daxamite who dropped by Earth to turn Mon-El's life upside down. The king is along for the ride as well, although he looks to be playing second fiddle to his wife, which jives with what we learned about the character when Kevin Sorbo landed the role. He was described as having a connection to Teri Hatcher's villainess, who was already then slated to become the big bad of the second half of the season. He may be less of a baddie than his wife...or he might be thoroughly awful and just needs to be pointed in the right direction by his wife. Either way, we can bet that they'll redefine what it means to be a power couple on Earth-38.

Unfortunately, we have two weeks to wait before we get to see Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo in action as Mon-El's parents. Tune in to The CW on Monday, March 20 at 8 p.m. ET for the next new episode of Supergirl. It will be the same episode that kicks off the big musical crossover, so be sure to check it out.
