Watch The Foo Fighters Rock Out With James Corden In Epic Carpool Karaoke

When a band has been around as long as the Foo Fighters have been, it's hard to find something they haven't already done. Now that they've rocked out on The Late Late Show With James Corden's popular segment "Carpool Karaoke," it's going to be even harder. Check out the epic full installment below and continue on for more:

For those that saw how long the video and decided to save a complete viewing for later, it really is worth the 13-minute investment any time it can be spared. In his usual fashion, James Corden manages to get in some good questions about the band in between rocking out to some of their most beloved songs. The Late Late Show host even squeezed in an inquiry regarding Nirvana not long before he would engage the ever-charismatic frontman Dave Grohl and drummer Taylor Hawkins in a drum battle. Spoiler alert for those that didn't see already: Corden is not as good of a drummer as these two rock legends, but he gets some credit for trying.

Perhaps surprisingly, this "Carpool Karaoke" was aired on The Late Late Show With James Corden and not on the Apple Original series of the same name. With that said, the standalone series doesn't always feature Corden riding around with the musical guests, and it's possible Corden learned the Foo Fighters were interested in being on and made things happen so he could be the one in the car to make it an awesome late night moment. After all, who wouldn't want to drive around town with Dave Grohl sitting shotgun, since that makes everyone look cooler?

Foo Fighters now joins the likes of Metallica and The Red Hot Chili Peppers as beloved rockers who have appeared on "Carpool Karaoke." Linkin Park was also scheduled to appear on the Apple version of the series at some point this year, although it's presently unknown whether or not that episode will air due to lead singer Chester Bennington's passing. With names like those having already appeared, it would be interesting to see what other high-profile rockers James Corden can snag for the show. Surely the world needs to see how Paul McCartney sings in a car right? Corden thinks so.

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS. For more karaoke fun, be sure to check out Vin Diesel's quasi-audition to be on the segment or a short clip of Madonna's episode. On the Foo Fighters front, they just released their new album Concrete And Gold, which is available now to stream or buy.
