New Gotham Season 4 Footage Teases Tons Of Drama

If the first three episodes of Gotham Season 4 haven't indicated there's going to be tons of drama, this Season 4 Footage showcased at New York Comic-Con certainly teases it. Check out the trailer, which blends stuff from recent episodes as well as some new footage from this season, and continue on below:

The new footage doesn't come until the final minute of the trailer, and shows Barbara Kean meeting with Ras Al Ghul to discuss obtaining the Balahsi knife. Barbara doesn't seem to get the importance of the knife, and even when it's explained to her, she doesn't seem to be all that interested. Regardless, it looks like she's going to lend her aide to Ras' effort this Thursday, as she enlists a crazy dog man and his owner to get the knife from Bruce Wayne.

As for who these two characters are, they seem new to the Batman universe as well as Gotham. In fact, "Dog boy", as Barbara refers to him, appears to be a more demented half-brother of Gollum from Lord Of The Rings, which makes the fact he's searching out something "precious" to Ras that much sweeter. Take that and the fact that his owner vaguely resembles The Hound from Game of Thrones, and we have a real fantasy team up that will give the Dark Knight in training a real run for his money:

Owner And Dog Boy Gotham Fox

For those interested in Gotham who have yet to dive into Season 4, everything preceding the final minute of footage was a recap of all that has been shown in the first three episodes. Unfortunately, there was no tease to things like future battles we can expect to see Bruce in, or exactly how damaged Edward Nygma's mind is following his time as a popsicle in Penguin's club. It seems the Gotham team is playing their cards close to the chest in terms of other Season 4 footage, which if nothing else, means fans are in for some more surprises.

Gotham is all new this Thursday, October 12th at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
