Fans of late celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain will get to see the final episodes of his show Parts Unknown after all. At the time of his death, three episodes had been ready for air. The first of the three was aired last Sunday. Bourdain's death was discovered on Friday. That episode of Parts Unknown featured Berlin. Now CNN has announced that the two other episodes that were completed before Bourdain's death will also air on the news network.

CNN's announcement means that the episodes will air as previously planned, per EW. There is still no word on what will become of the episode Anthony Bourdain was working on at the time of his death. That episode of Parts Unknown was being filmed in France and is unfinished. Along with the news that CNN would finish airing the completed episodes of Season 11, they also announced something else. The network's tribute to Bourdain will be rebroadcast this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CNN, preceding the airing of the next episode of Parts Unknown.

The popular travel show has aired on CNN since 2013. In it, Anthony Bourdain traversed the world, entertaining viewers with aplomb. The final episodes of Season 11 will feature Cajun Mardi Gras and Bhutan. The beloved chef and host's loss has been mourned by fans, celebrities, and fellow chefs the world over in the past week. CNN's decision to air the rest of Season 11 comes as Netflix also made a decision concerning Parts Unknown.

The show was scheduled to leave the streaming service before Netflix announced via Twitter that they had reached an agreement to keep the series on the platform for months into the future. How many months that is remains a mystery in the tweet, as does whether the new deal means additional seasons, including the current one, will be made available to watch on the platform. Netflix is currently streaming the series' first eight seasons.

Episode 7 of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown Season 11 featuring Cajun Mardi Gras will air this Sunday, June 17 at 9 p.m. ET on CNN. The eighth and now final episode of Season 11, featuring Bhutan, will air Sunday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET on CNN. In his final season, Anthony Bourdain traversed West Virginia, Uruguay, Newfoundland, Armenia, and Hong Kong, among other locations. Find out how his other journeys turned out when the final episodes of Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown air this month.
