Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors Trailer Is Fun And Action-Packed

The full trailer for Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors is finally here! Prepare to get your first peek at Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Quake, Patriot, America Chavez, and Inferno! The premiere of the animated superhero movie is right around the corner, and Marvel is giving fans a much-anticipated glimpse of what they can expect with an exhilarating trailer that packs a punch. Without further ado, you can watch the trailer below, and we will regroup afterward:

Fun, action-filled, and the animation is on fire! Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors is vivid and filled with lush imagery that gives the trailer a real upbeat feel. I love what the animation style is bringing to it. The trailer swings for the fences with glimpses at explosions and lots of action. There is also some comic relief thrown in for good measure. Towards the end of the trailer, Squirrel Girl declares that she "eats nuts and kicks butts," a line that works despite its record-scratching nature.

The trailer begins with Kamala Khan and Doreen Green in what is presumably a park as they watch a video of Captain Marvel. No, they are not watching the trailer for the upcoming live-action movie. They do watch a clip of some sort with the masked crusader, which gets Kamala very excited. That's when a food vendor asks for help, sparking Kamala and Doreen to leap into action as Ms. Marvel and Squirrel Girl, respectively.

The rest of the trailer introduces the other members of the crew, including America Chavez, Inferno, Patriot, and Quake. Seeing Quake in animated form with Chloe Bennet voicing her Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. character from the live-action series is intensely cool. And the trailer gives fans a hint of how her vocal performance in the role will match up with her live-action take on the character. Overall, this is a teaser that achieves its goal of getting one eager to see it.

Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors is a movie that will chronicle the teens as they join forces as a band of superheroes. As hinted at in the trailer, the Marvel Universe is eventually placed under threat from something unexpected. The group of superpowered teenagers will have to come together to save the world. And while they are at, they will have to learn that a "hero" and a "misfit" is just the difference of a name, per Marvel Entertainment.

So, there is a lot to look forward too! The underestimated heroes that have been ostracized by the world are going to be the very ones who end up saving it. A lesson that never gets old or worn out. Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors premieres Sunday, September 30 at 10 p.m. ET on Disney Channel and Disney XD. The movie will be joined by a lot of new content, which will also be arriving on television in September.
