If you thought the baseball game caused you to miss The X Factor last night, rest assured, you didn’t miss anything! The game did cause a delay, however Fox announced that they’ve adjusted the schedule, airing last night’s episode tonight, and moving the episode that was set to air tonight to later this week.
This isn’t the first time this week that baseball has caused a delay in Fox programming. Terra Nova was delayed earlier this week because of a game in some areas. However, this time Fox has decided to reorganize the schedule, moving last night's episode to tonight, with the judges set to mentor their contestants at their homes (or a location of their choice). The episode will also include an appearance by celebrity guest mentor Rihanna. The episode is scheduled to air tonight (October 13th) at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Meanwhile, the episode that was set to air tonight has been moved to Sunday, which may throw a wrench into your previously scheduled Sunday night TV watching plans. The two-hour episode will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and run until 10, if there’s no ALCS Game #7. If there is a Game 7, I expect Fox will either release the episode online or make another announcement about when it will air. The next new episode after that is Tuesday, October 18th.
