Bree Turner is a frequent guest stinter on popular shows. Her recent credits include an episode of CBS’ The Mentalist and another appearance on Fox’s Raising Hope. The 35-year-old actress most recently showed up NBC’s Grimm for a guest starring role. Turns out the show has liked what they have seen from the actress, and Grimm now has plans to keep her around.
Turner plays Rosalee on NBC’s freshman fantasy drama, about a detective who has links to and must deal with the mythological creatures of the world. Rosalee has only appeared in two episodes so far, but a lot has happened. Her brother died, she packed up and then decided to stay in the spice shop she owns, and she helped the guys out with a golden stone extraction from another mythological creature. According to TV Line, Turner’s character has been likeable enough Grimm has changed her status from a guest star to a series regular.
Since NBC has already renewed Grimm for a second season, the move is a good deal for Turner, who has not had a ton of gigs that have gone beyond the level of guest appearance. Having Rosalee around will be good for fans, too, who were interested in her Fachsbau nature and addict past and will now get a chance to see those aspects more fully fleshed out.
Grimm airs Sundays on NBC at 9 p.m. ET.
