Joey Fatone And Mel B Get Another Gig - Together This Time

When I first heard about The Singing Office, I moaned. Just what the world needs, another singing competition… Thank goodness, this one is not a serious show, but more of a "take a break and be silly at work," kind of show. The series' premise is that the two hosts show up at random workplaces (probably not so random) and choose the five best singers from each to compete against each other.

The hosts are Mel B (yup, from The Spice Girls, Dancing with the Stars, and whatever else she has done), and Joey Fatone (N’Sync, Dancing with the Stars, and whatever else he has done). Does anyone else see some similarities in their resumes?

So, can someone tell me why stars who had their fifteen minutes ages ago, are getting another fifteen minutes? Where does this time keep coming from? There are plenty of more interesting characters out there who could probably be a lot more interesting to watch. I guess I should be thanking my lucky stars that Omarosa wasn’t picked.

I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars because I am uninterested in seeing C and D list stars hoof it up, cheat on their spouses and promptly fall off the face of the earth. I guess that last part is just wishful thinking, because The Singing Office proves that some of these guys just get more work as a result of being on Dancing. What’s next - Police Academy 8? Oh no, I just read on Wikipedia that development on that idea was halted last year, but you know now that “Mahoney” was on Dancing, that project just came back to life. YIKES!
