Subscribe To Kevin Hart To Host The 2012 Video Music Awards, Kim And Kanye Join Him In A Video Updates
MTV has a host lined up for this year's VMA's, and a funny video announcement to go with it. Actor and comedian Kevin Hart is set to run the show at the 2012 Video Music Awards, and MTV made a mini-event out of announcing it by bringing two other K-named celebrities to help him spread the news.

Known for his stand-up and acting, including appearances in Modern Family, Kevin Hart's comedy background will likely serve him well at the VMA host this year. The music-focused awards ceremony is set to air live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, Sept. 6, 8/7C on MTV. As you'll see in the video below, he's very excited, and especially eager to debut himself as part of the new "It" couple, Kevye-Kim.

And that may be just a taste of the humor we'll see when Hart takes the stage less than a month from today.

For those who want to familiarize themselves with Hart's standup, the comedian has a number of specials on Netflix, including Laugh at my Pain and I'm a Grown Little Man.
