Weeds Season 6 Trailer Lets Nancy Botwin Bury Her Past

Weeds has gone through an interesting transformation over its five seasons. When it started it was the story of a single mother just struggling to make ends meet… by dealing Marijuana. Early on Nancy Botwin was a sympaethic figure who seemed like she was just trying to do her best to do the right thing for her family. Over time, she’s morphed into something else. In a way, Nancy’s more of a villain than a hero these days. She’s ruined the lives of everyone around her, permanently scarred her kids, and repeatedly passed up opportunities to get out of her situation and make things right. She’s selfish and she’s addicted to the criminal lifestyle.

Enter Weeds season 6. When last we left Nancy Botwin her youngest son had made the transition from deeply troubled pre-teen whose first sexual experience was a threesome, to flat out murderer. The first ever teaser trailer for the new season offers no actual footage, but hints that Nancy may finally wake up and attempt to start over by burying her sordid past. Assuming of course, the cops will let her.
