Duke Nukem Forever will finally hit stores this spring. 2K Games and Gearbox Software announced the long-delayed shooter's release date today.
Forever will hit North America on May 3rd. The international release date is May 6th. The PS3, Xbox 360, and PC releases will be simultaneous.
In Forever, aliens have invaded Earth and it's up to Duke - a bad-ass with Howie Long's haircut - to stop them. He'll use an arsenal of ridiculous weapons to wipe out the invaders. It's not all hard work, though; Duke will also find time to ogle women, shoot hops, and lift weights.
Players who join the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club will get early access to the demo. First Access Club membership is included with the Borderlands Game of the Year edition.
