This weekend BioWare announced another character that will accompany Commander Shepard during Mass Effect 2. Subject Zero was formally introduced to the world through a new trailer.

Zero's not the type of girl you bring home. She's covered head to toe in tattoos, curses like a sailor, and at one point belonged to a cult. None of this exactly screams "reliable" but I guess when you're going on a suicide mission, you take whatever help you can get.

Meh, I like Ashley more. Might be a toss-up if Zero had some hair, though. Mass Effect 2 is set to arrive on the PC and Xbox 360 in early 2010.
