UPDATE: Sorry guys-- the powers that be (European distribution company Pathe) have had the trailer removed from the site for now. We'll let you know if it surfaces anywhere else.I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting from Jim Carrey’s upcoming guy gone gay movie I Love You Phillip Morris, but this isn’t it. An extended promo for the film is now available on the Italian website Trailersland, and it’s very strange indeed. The film stars Jim Carrey as an upstanding, religious family man who suddenly goes gay, steals money, gets caught and goes to prison where he’s cell mates with a guy named Phillip Morris, played by Ewan McGregor. They fall in love. Carrey gets transferred, and spends a lot of time longing for his soulmate Morris. Is it a comedy? A satire? A drama? I really can’t tell. See if you can figure it out here.
