We have reached the precise middle of Superhero Summer 2011. With X-Men: First Class arriving in theaters today and Thor being released about a month ago, all that remains in terms of superhuman abilities are Green Lantern and Captain America: The First Avenger. While there's still time to prepare for your dose of super solider serum, however, it's now time to prepare for an onslaught of green-powered aliens.

Warner Bros. has released a grand total of 40 new stills from the upcoming Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong. While mostly consisting of stills from the film, there are also a few behind the scenes shots, including Geoffrey Rush and Michael Clarke Duncan voicing Tomar-Re and Kilowog, respectively.
