I am dying to see some real footage from writer/director Rian Johnson's Looper and luckily I won't have to wait much longer. The first official trailer for the time travel thriller is scheduled to arrive online this Thursday, but in the run-up Sony has been releasing a series of teases hosted by Johnson and star Joseph Gordon-Levitt (who starred in the filmmaker's debut, Brick, and had a cameo in the follow-up, The Brothers Bloom). You can see the first vignette, which was released yesterday, right HERE and below we have number two.

Watch the short teaser now and head over to Apple to see it in HD.

Also starring Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Piper Perabo, and Jeff Daniels, Looper is set in a future where time travel is possible, but has been made illegal. The mob has found a use for it in executions, as they send their targets 30 years into the past where a hitman is waiting to kill them. Joe (Gordon-Levitt) has made a solid career out of this, but things start to go wrong when his bosses decide to close the loop and send Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) into the past so that Joe will kill himself. Look for Johnson's movie when it arrives in theaters on September 28th and to see more from the title head over to our Blend Film Database.
