Hero Blend #66: What To Expect From San Diego Comic-Con 2015

The madness has begun. The annual geek fest known as San Diego Comic-Con has opened its doors, and thousands upon thousands of genre fans have been traveling in, out and around the San Diego Convention Center to celebrate all of their favorite movies, TV shows, comics, video games, and more. But the start of the festivities also means that we will soon be seeing big presentations from some of the biggest comic book movies coming out in the next year – and we’re super pumped for what’s in store.

Of course, the million dollar question is in regard to what we will be seeing. Marvel Studios is skipping this year’s events, but there is plenty of other stuff to anticipate. Warner Bros. and their DC Comics properties will be present in full force (meaning brand new stuff from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad are expected to be on display), and 20th Century Fox is expected to have a big year thanks to Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, and possibly more.

In a rare in-person capacity, Cinema Blend’s own Sean O’Connell is my guest for Hero Blend this week, as we are both in San Diego for all of the Comic-Con festivities. It’s a great chat, so enjoy the show!
