Kung Fu Panda Casts Sexy Kitty

DreamWorks Animation says Angelina Jolie is joining the voice cast of an animated movie as a hella sexy martial arts mistress named Tigress. Meow? Whoa cool it, this is still a kids’ movie.

The film is DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda, which stars Jack Black as an overweight panda named Po, who longs to do sweet karate moves. Unfortunately, Po is one of the laziest animals in ancient China, and besides he really doesn’t have the body for an active lifestyle. But when the enemies are at the gates, a MacGuffin prophecy says Po is the only panda who can save them.

Angelina Jolie has worked in animation before. In Shark Tale she made audiences mildly uncomfortable by sexing up an animated fish. Sexy and slimy just don’t go together.

In Kung Fu Panda, she’ll be one of the teachers responsible for whipping Po into fighting shape. Also in the film’s star-laden voice cast are Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman, and Ian McShane. Look for it in theaters May 2008.
