I woke up this morning with no idea of what Con was going to be, and now I have a better idea of what Con is going to be, but feel a little bad for being semi-attracted to an underage Pikachu (you'll see - why'd she have to make a cute face?)
San Diego Comic Con kicks off it's 2012 exhibition with Wednesday's preview night. Of course, that's not going to stop our favorite type of fans from going all out for the first night.
New York Comic Con is in full swing in midtown Manhattan, and while it's a smaller event than its sister Con in San Diego, it's still packed full of people in some of the most elaborate costumes you'll ever see. I deeply regret missing the chance to photograph the spot-on Mister T
On Sunday morning, while Kelly liveblogged the Glee panel, I took to the show floor to take one last round of costume photos, with attendees still as eager to pose and be photographed as they were on Day 1. Some highlights in this batch include a Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers couple, a lady Captain America in a very short skirt
In the gallery you will find over than 40 pictures I took just a little while ago while navigating the giant floor. Some of my personal favorites include lazy Spider-Man, Ryu vs. Wolverine, old-school Magneto and Ash (who actually appears twice. See if you can find him!)
When we're not sitting on panels or interviewing one of the many celebrities wandering around Comic Con, Cinema Blend's team is wandering around the convention to check out the real highlight of the Con: the costumes. In our gallery below, which we'll be updating throughout the day
One dedicated Iron Man fan put his mind to just that task and came up with something which, ok doesnít look exactly like a briefcase, but definitely does fold down into a briefcase like shape. And ok it doesnít exactly spring up by itself and wrap itself around him...
Though we'll get into the panels and booths and scoops of New York Comic Con as the weekend convention continues, you and I both know what the most fun part is: the cosplayers
I also hit the exhibition floor for the first time since Wednesday and snapped photos of some cool stuff we had missed-- action figures from Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, a giant Bumblebee and Voldemort
Here youíll find pictures of some of the most brightly dressed members of Comic Con geekdom. Itís a nerdís way of peacocking. But donít worry, none of these geeks are stabby
Where else in the world do you walk past a woman in a skintight plastic purple jumpsuit because she's not nearly as interesting as the pack of Ninja Turtles a few feet away?
The first full day at Comic Con was filled with panels and big, Hollywood news. But whatís far more interesting than whether or not Guillermo del Toro is directing The Haunted Mansion
Get excited about Iron Man 2 or Avatar all you want. Everyone knows that one of the best parts of Comic Con is the costumes, the handmade and exquisite creations that fans parade all around the convention center, able to be out and proud among their geek brethren
There are only two kinds of women at the San Diego Comic Con: Those who are wearing clothes, and those who are nearly naked. In the photo gallery here, youíll mostly see photos of those who are nearly naked, mixed in with some pictures of dudes dressed as Star Wars characters. People watching is half the fun of Comic Con
