LeAnn Rimes And Brandi Glanville Bicker Over Mother's Day Flowers

Sending flowers to your husband’s ex-wife on Mother’s Day might seem like a lovely gesture, but apparently, such a peace offering doesn’t sit well with Brandi Glanville. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star who famously lost her husband to country singer LeAnn Rimes acknowledged the other woman’s gesture on Twitter, but she wasn’t exactly glowing in her praise. In fact, she decided to harp more on the problems the women still have.

”I thanked @leannrimes on twitter4 my flowers. Our relationship is that we still dont even say hi at baseball. I dont have her number-thats it”

Not to be outdone, Rimes addressed the previous comment on her own Twitter account, as well. Here’s a portion of what she had to say…

”This was actually the first acknowledgement of my gesture I was made aware of.”

Obviously, the reasons for these women to dislike each other are numerous, and it’s pretty obvious why they’re not best friends. That being said, there are children involved who should serve as pretty damn good incentives to play nice. There’s no reason why kids should have to worry about awkwardness between the adults in their lives, and in more reflective moments, both of these women actually seem to realize that.

Sometimes life sucks. Sometimes you find yourself in circumstances that don’t even remotely resemble the ones you expected you’d be in, but when those circumstances are things that cannot be changed, it’s better for everyone involved if you just accept the reality and try to make the best of it. Clearly, these two women don’t want to be bound together, but that’s the ship they’re in. Here’s to hoping they both stop fighting the waves at some point and just roll with it.
