Should Justin Bieber Be Ashamed Of Himself For Getting Carried Up The Great Wall?
By Mack Rawden 1 year ago
Itís no secret Justin Bieberís popularity isnít exactly at an all-time high. In fact, his critics have spent the last six months or so going out of their way to blame him for as many things as possible. Sometimes, theyíve had every reason to throw up the middle finger. Other times, the harsh treatment has been a little unfair. As to where this story falls, well, it probably depends on your perspective.
Right now, the Biebs is on tour in China. So, like most visitors, heís slowly working his way through the popular tourist destinations. Recently, he hit up the Great Wall of China, but rather than climbing up it like a normal human being, he decided to have his bodyguards carry him---like a king---or a rich guy who can pay people to carry him.
Not surprisingly, the response has been very loud on Twitter, though not everyone is necessarily in agreement on whether Bieber did anything wrong. There are some who think we should all lay off because heís just a kid looking to have some fun. He didnít harm anyone by being carried up, and if every teenager had the resources to make the same thing happen, there are plenty who would do it the same way. On the other hand, however, thereís just something incredibly douchey about making people carry you somewhere when youíre not injured. It just screams self-centered asshole, whether thatís intentional or not.
