Battlestar Galactica Premiere Date Set

Fans of Battlestar Galactica, mark your calendars! As per our source with the SciFi network, the premiere date for the fourth season of BSG is set to air on April 4, 2008. I know some of us were hoping the premiere date would be moved up to at least March but that doesn't appear to be the case.

If you actually are marking your calendars, you'll note that April 4th is indeed a Friday! Does that mean that the series will actually be returning to Fridays? I can't say for sure but it does look like that's a good possibility. We're still waiting to get some more details on the premiere and a confirmation that the series is set to permanently back to Friday night.

In the meantime, since you've got your calendars out already, flip back to March and mark down "BSG Season 3 DVD release" on the 25th if you haven't already. This isn't exactly breaking news but in case you hadn't heard, 3/25 is the release date for Battlestar Galactica Season 3 on DVD. The set comes with the podcasts, an extended version of "Unfinished Business," a commentary with David Eick and the Battlestar Galactica: Resistance webisodes.
