Watch Kaley Cuoco Dress Up As Britney Spears For Lip Sync Battle

Spike’s Lip Sync Battle has been pretty good about releasing compelling teases before an episode premieres, but this week, the show kept the best moment pretty well underwraps. After Josh Gad dressed up as Donald Trump for a rendition of “I Touch Myself,” The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco threw on a blonde wig and grabbed a snake in order to lip sync to Britney Spears’ famous “I’m a Slave 4 U” track. Give the excessive performance a watch, below.

I thought Kaley Cuoco’s attempt at “Move Bitch” earlier in the episode was pretty impressive, but when celebrities are given the opportunity to bring in props on the show, they often take things to another level. I already knew Cuoco had the impressive abs to emulate an early Britney Spears, but I had no idea that she could pull off the dance moves that pop stars from the early part of the century were known for.

Along with the costume, the addition of a ton of background dancers and a full commitment to the routine, Kaley Cuoco also managed to bring out the snake that made “I’m a Slave 4 U” so iconic.

Lip Sync Battle has absolutely been dominating over at Spike for some time now. The format, which features celebrities battling in an early round without props and a later round with props, leads to a lot of friendly competition between celebrities from different backgrounds. The format has even allowed onscreen families like Empire’s Taraji P.Henson and Terence Howard and real-life couples like Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum to have fun on the show.

Lip Sync Battle is currently airing its second season on Spike, but Spike clearly has great confidence in the series. The reality competition series was renewed for Season 3 just a few weeks ago, likely because the show is dominating in its timeslot on Thursday nights. In fact, Lip Sync Battle is the most-watched original series in the history of the network. Videos from the show have also crushed online, amassing about a half billion video streams.

Next week Nina Dobrev and Tim Tebow are set to face off. If that sounds like something you would be interested in, be sure to tune in when Lip Sync Battle airs on Spike on Thursday at 10 p.m. ET. In addition, you can check out what else the networks have coming up with our midseason TV premiere schedule.
