Downloading movies is traditionally an expensive habit to have or an illegal one. For fans who love movies, however, AOL is offering a sweet Christmas gift. For 24 hours only, they are offering a free download from a selection of 30 movies.

Beginning this Saturday, December 2, at 6:00 AM ET until 6:00 AM ET on Sunday, December 3 or while supplies last. (Limit one movie download per person.) Choose from more than 30 movies – from recent releases to holiday favorites including National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation – will be made available at no charge for one day only. Normally, movie downloads from AOL Video are priced from $9.99 to $19.99 per title. It's easy to do and the directions are step by step. I wouldn’t get up early for Black Friday sales this year but it looks like I’ll be getting up to try and take advantage of AOL’s generous offer. I suggest those who want to do the same get there early – 24 hours go by fast!
