BioWare is known for tapping a lot of different actors for their games. It's not uncommon to hear a familiar voice or two when playing their games. Well, it turns out that a couple of Game of Thrones alum have parts in the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Gamespot is reporting that one of the voice actors brought on board is none other than Natalie Dormer, who played Margaery Tyrell in HBO's Game of Thrones. For her role in Mass Effect: Andromeda she assumes the role of an Asari named Dr. Lexi T'Perro. What she didn't expect was hearing Gethin Anthony playing opposite of her in the game, given that he played Renly Baratheon in Game of Thrones. Considering the relationship the two had on the show, it will be interesting to see them potentially interact again. Dormer quipped...

I had a bit of a moment earlier when Gethin Anthony's voice came in over across my [headphones]. It's kind of a weird one, hearing Renly Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell in different guises.

Dormer seemed excited about her role in BioWare's action-oriented RPG. In one of the behind-the-scenes videos that they released, she talked about how much time and work the developers are putting into the game, from the art and special effects to the mo-cap and voice acting.

Unfortunately, Dormer doesn't give much away regarding the way her character fits into the story other than that she's a doctor. It's hard to tell exactly how big of a role she'll have in the game, but it's likely that she'll be about as present in Mass Effect: Andromeda as characters like Joker was during the original trilogy.

Previously we also learned that actor, writer, and comedian, Kumail Nanjiani also joined the cast as a space frog. I don't know how true that description is for his role since they didn't show his character, but it's likely that Nanjiani will have an opportunity to play up his humor in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

But don't take that Natalie Dormer won't have opportunities to play up her humor as well. In the behind-the-scenes video she mentions that T'Perro will exercise some wry humor while exchanging dialogue with the Ryder twins.

You can check out the brief video below, where Dormer talks a little bit about her experience on the production and you get to see a few clips of the Asari character that she voices in the upcoming sci-fi epic. The video is pretty quick, clocking in at just under two minutes.

In addition to Natalie Dormer, Kumail Nanjiani and Gethin Anthony voicing characters in Mass Effect: Andromeda, veteran actor Clancy Brown will also be lending his voice to papa Ryder.

The newest entry in the Mass Effect series is scheduled to launch in North America on March 21st and it will be available in Europe starting March 23rd. So you'll have to wait an entire month to get your hands on it. The game will be available on PS4, PS4 Pro, PC and Xbox One.
