When the BioShock sequel was first revealed to the world, it was called BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams. That's no longer the game's title, however.
"You won’t be seeing ‘Sea of Dreams’ moving forward, just 'BioShock 2,'" said a 2K community manager to Primotech. No reason was provided for the switch. A shorter name does save them money on sky-writing ads, though.
BioShock 2 will be released later this year. The platforms it's being prepared for are still unknown.
