Ravaged Joins KickStarter To Finalize Development

2Dawn Games' Ravaged is a beautiful looking masterpiece. Graphics alone could sell the game but unfortunately, in the PC community, it takes a bit more than shiny cars and cutoff shorts to secure a sale.

2Dawn Games, according to Blues, have decided to head to KickStarter for a meager $15,000 to help get the game finalized and out and about to digital distributors such as Steam.

As stated by the 2Dawn Team...

As video game developers we often get pulled into the land of publishers. While its good to have someone backing your game, it also tends to focus games towards trends, numbers and executive goals. This has sucked the life out of most games and killed off many good studios.Well here is your chance to be part of a game where the fun is the focus. To do this, we are going to need your help to put the finishing touches on the game, join our beta and help us get the word out.

Unlike many other KickStarter programs Ravaged is pretty much near complete and just needs a final push to the finish line. The game has been touted across many-a-websites as being a graphically proficient indie title and it shares a close aesthetic similarity to id Software's RAGE as well as gameplay mechanics similar to DICE's Battlefield. It kind of makes sense considering that the guys at 2Dawn have previous experience working on Fronlines, Desert Combat and Battlefield 2. As one commenter mentioned it's like Battlefield RAGE.

For those of you unsure about this game just feel free to check out previous trailers for the game that we have on the site here and here. As you can see, it's an exceptionally polished game to be an indie title. Without a publisher towing the financial line or investors breathing down their necks, it will be interesting to see what the final product of Ravaged will be like.

If you need more info on this exceptionally good looking first-person, vehicular-combat based, multiplayer shooter, feel free to pay a visit to the Official KickStarter Page. I get the feeling that it won't be long before this game hits and exceeds its $15,000 goal.
