Remember when Gearbox was working on this game way back when? Well apparently they’re still working on it and all that hard work will come to fruition at this year’s E3 with a demonstration of one of this generation’s most talked about vaporware, Aliens: Colonial Marines.
If Gearbox can manage to get up a decent demo of ACM and release Duke Nukem: Forver , then they deserve an award for resurrecting the most anticipated IPs that were labeled as vaporware for many years on end.
Anyway, AvP Galaxy has some collected info from various sources claiming that something legit will be on display at this year’s E3 concerning Aliens: Colonial Marines. This news comes after pre-E3 viral letters were sent out to various gaming publications with a charred baby doll’s head that Newt from the movie Aliens carried around with her.
The sources AvP Galaxy list as confirmation for this rumor aren’t no-name publications either; Kotaku and Xbox World both seem to think that this game will be a show-stealer at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. And it’s hard to argue otherwise when a burned plastic head is sitting on your desk letting you know that something big is about to go down.
