Crytek has issued a new trailer for their free-to-play shooter Warface. It demonstrates how players can quickly swap their weapon modifications on the fly.
Generally multiplayer shooters will only let you customize your weapons at the start of a match or after you die. However, in Warface, you can alter your weapon at any time. The trailer shows a player adding a foregrip and scope to their rifle during a lull in the battle.
The downside? You're leaving yourself vulnerable while you're putzing around with your weapon. When customization is active, the weapon is held sideways and apparently can't be fired. If you're too busy trying to find the right attachment for your gun, an enemy could charge in and take you out.
Warface's closed beta launched in January. You can sign up for the test here.
