It’s been a pretty lackluster year for really cool movie posters, but Coming Soon has scored a look at what has to be the early favorite for the year’s best one sheet. It’s a gorgeous, incredible looking poster for the upcoming Lionsgate Western 3:10 to Yuma.
Lionsgate deserves some serious credit for this one. The movie has two huge stars in Russell Crowe and Christian Bale in it, so the temptation to shove out some sort of awful floating heads poster had to be there. But not only did they avoid the whole horrible floating heads thing, they produced a poster which shows neither of their stars at all. Well at least not from the front anyway. Just a cowboy, from the back and a gorgeous, old west theme. Incredible poster, and whether or not the movie is any good there’s a good chance this beauty will end up on my wall.

Adapted from a short story by Elmore Leonard, 3:10 to Yuma stars Russell Crowe as a capture outlaw being escorted to the 3:10 train to Yuma in order to face trial. It's Civil War vet Dale Evans' (Christian Bale) job to get him there.
