Crazy Penguins Wobble Twice

Dreamworks Animation has unleashed box-office gold with it's CGI comedy Madagascar, which has recently passed the $500 million mark worldwide. CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg is pleased to announce that it is now their most successful original movie ever. That isn't a tough feat to accomplish when your earlier release was Shark Tale. They're not exactly Pixar but their recent slew of money should be enough compensation.

People can't get enough of zoo animals gone wild, and a sequel is in the works. According to Hollywood Reporter, several of the original cast members will be returning, including Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, and Jada Pinkett Smith. The rest are still being pursued and will likely hop on board when they're offered stacks of dollar bills.

Along with the sequel, Dreamworks Animation will be releasing a direct-to-video movie revolving around the penguins. There will also be a ten-minute short film about them which will play before Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit in October.

Penguins are having the best year ever, so may as well give them love now, before another bird steals their 5 minutes of fame. The Madagascar sequel wobbles into theaters in 2008.
