Everybody has a blog these days, even Hollywood directors. Even Hollywood directors making sequels to really awful movies like Punisher. Not that the suckiness of the original is Lexi Alexander’s fault of course, she had nothing to do with it. She's just the director stuck on the new one. Maybe she’ll finally figure this whole Punisher thing out with Punisher: War Zone. Third time’s the charm?
Today on her official blog, Lexi (who looks a lot like Lisa from News Radio), posted some of the first stills we’ve seen from her War Zone movie. In particular, she includes a few of what she says are her favorite shots of Ray Stevenson as the new Frank Castle. You can see one of them to your right. They’re not exactly high-res, but perhaps worth looking at if you’re into Hollywood’s refusal to accept that this character just doesn’t work on screen. It’s a mad dream.
