When it was revealed a few days back that Will Sasso was the frontrunner for a role in the Farrelly brothers' The Three Stooges, two thoughts went through my mind: 1) he's probably looks more like Curly than any other actor minus prosthetics, 2) what the hell has Will Sasso been in since he left Mad TV? While I'm still not 100% sure about the answer to the latter, I now do know what he will be in. EW is reporting that Sasso is locked in to play Curly in the upcoming Farrelly brothers comedy. Scheduled to go into production next month, the film is structured as three Stooges episodes back to back, as they grow up in an orphanage and head out into the real world. The two other starring roles have yet to be cast.

The casting seems to suggest that the Peter and Bobby really are going for Stooge qualities as opposed to top-line names this time around (Sasso is a far shot away from the lineup that included Jim Carrey, Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro). With that in mind, who do you think would be the best actors to play Moe and Larry?
