New Teenage Mutant Turtles Trailer Fully Reveals The Heroes In A Half Shell

Post by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Many have been dreading the live-action reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since Michael Bay announced he'd be producing it. But even after a slate of fan-infuriating bombshells dropped, things got worse when we began to see footage of exactly how altered the appearance of the heroes on a half shell have been. The latest trailer gets us up close and personal with Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael. And it's not pretty.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Facebook page dropped the vid up top, which has a front end and final shots pulled directly from the previously released trailer. However, the middle gives us hero close-ups of each of the titular turtle crew. And oh man. It's even worse than we feared.

First up is Michelangelo, the lovable goofball of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We got a look at him in the last trailer, with and without the mask. Little did we know this was the tip of the iceberg.

The new trailer also gives us a better lit look at Mikey, and with it we learn he favors surfer dude jewelry.

Leonardo looks better. He's brawny, intense, and oozes mystique backlit by the beauty of New York City's Empire State Building.

But he loses some of his bravado in this close-up, looking more like a grumpy old man than a fearsome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.

Raphael is still keeping his distance, so all we get is this shot of him readying for battle.

Last and definitely least is poor Donatello. Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle appears to be most unkind to him, turning him into a cross between JarJar Binks and Rick Moranis from Ghostbusters. Seriously. Dare to compare.

Jar

No wonder he's so mad.
